2021 ZebraPHest Virtual Event

Virtual Celebration starts at 10:00 am CDT

As our country continues to be affected by COVID-19, we are concerned about its impact on the pulmonary hypertension (PH) community.  With the resurgence of COVID-19 cases across the United States, PHA has made the difficult decision that we will not be holding an in-person gathering for the 2021 ZebraPHest 5K and PHun Walk on November 6th.

Instead, we will be hosting a virtual experience!  We believe this decision is in the best interest of the PH community. In addition, we want to do our part to slow the spread of this outbreak.  

While we will not be coming together in person, we ARE encouraging everyone to join us in a virtual O2breathe celebration on November 6, 2021. Below are some important facts about what to expect:

What does virtual celebration mean?

You spoke and we hear you!!  We want this event to be a celebration of your fundraising and hard work over the past few months.  This year, the event will be LIVE: every participant will be seen on screen (if you choose) and you will be able to interact with others. We will try to make it as fun and interactive as possible in a virtual setting.

When is the virtual celebration?

The virtual celebration will take place on November 6, 2021 at 10:00 am CDT. No need to adjust your calendar.

How long will the event last?

The fundraising event will last no longer than 30 minutes.  We are working with our support group team in hopes to add a virtual support group meeting at the end of each event.  More details to come.  

As a participant, what do I need to do to participate?

All you need to do is register and continue to fundraise just as if the walk were going to be held in person. Need fundraising ideas? Check out our 30 Ways to Phundraise and How to Raise $250 in 1 Week documents. 

Will I still receive my incentive prizes?

Yes! If you raise $100 at least 1 week prior to the virtual walk day, you will receive your t-shirt in the mail so you can wear it during the virtual event. For other incentive prizes, you will have one week following the ‘walk day’ to finalize your fundraising.  We will begin to ship incentive prizes one week post event day.

What does PHA need from me?

Your commitment to our mission and to keep fundraising!!!
