These events are being hosted by Chelsea Warnberg & Family to support the Pulmonary Hypertension Association and increase awareness for this rare and often misdiagnosed disease. Chelsea was diagnosed with IPAH (Idiopathic Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension) in August of 2011. The disease causes constriction and high blood pressure in the pulmonary arteries making it harder for the blood to flow through the lungs to become oxygenated which in turn causes the heart to work harder. The heart then becomes enlarged and ultimately fails. The disease is progressive, life-threatening and without a cure. There are drug treatments that can improve the quality of life and help to prolong it but we are hoping through continued funding of research we can find a cure. Thank you for your continued support through donations and sponsorship. Please sign up to participate in either mini golf or the 9-hole scramble golf tournament. We are also looking for donations of prizes for both the raffle and silent auction as well as volunteers to assist with the events. Your support really can make a difference!
